Biography

Shivanand S. Shirkole pursued his BTech in Agricultural Engineering from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra, followed by MTech in Agricultural Process Engineering from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. He completed his PhD in Food Process Engineering from NIT Rourkela with a full-time fellowship from MHRD, Government of India.

He has served in industry, research and academia, including NIT Rourkela, ICT Mumbai and currently serves as Associate Professor of Food Technology, Dean – R&D and Director – IQAC at D. Y. Patil Agriculture and Technical University, Kolhapur.
